JP Morgan

  • The project

    I worked with the borrowing and insights teams at JP Morgan. The borrowing team were launching a new product. So one of my main projects was working with the UX designers and product designer to develop the onboarding journey. This was where current account customers were applying for borrowing.

  • How we worked

    I was part of the UX and content teams. We had daily standups to track progress as well as other meetings to figure out the UX journeys. I worked with the UX designers to create wireframes in Figma as well as put the content into Confluence for approval by the content team. We used Jira to track the progress of a job.

  • Considerations

    I worked with the JP Morgan brand guidelines and style guide to make sure that my copy was consistent with their tone of voice.

    As with all financial products, we had to work within a strict legal framework.

  • Results

    We created an application process that was straightforward and easy to use. As well as helping with the UX journeys, I made the language more human and relatable. For example, by changing archaic phases such as ‘marital status’ to ‘your home life’.
